Down-the-hole (DTH) bits are used with Down-the-hole hammers for drilling holes through a wide range of rocks types. In conjunction with DTH hammers, drill hammer bits are designed with a splined drive for rotating the bit in the ground. Drill bits are available in different sizes and different styles so they can drill a wide range of hole sizes.
Features of Convex Face • This face has been designed to offer high penetration rate in soft rock such as shale, limestone etc
• They are recognized for having excellent capability for drilling into moderately consolidated rock conditions
Carbide Design
DTH Bits with hemispherical carbide configuration are capable
of drilling in hard rock. Although their penetration rate is slower in
comparison to the bits with semi ballistic carbide profile, the bits equipped
with these hemispherical buttons have a longer life.
Rock drilling tools manufacturer ProDrill offers an extensive range of DTH hammer rock drill bits with shank type: DHD3.5, DHD340A, DHD3.5R, DHD360, DHD380; and DTH bits hole diameter: 3", 4", 5", 6", 8"(85mm-350mm).
